ELIGIBILITY & ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

• Open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.
• Persons under 18 may enter only if the purchase was made by an adult, but alcohol-related activities will be restricted.
• Entry is automatic upon purchase of a Kloovenburg Rugby Gift Box during the competition period.
• One purchase equals one entry.
• Proof of purchase may be requested.
• The entrant is the individual named on the order or invoice.

COMPETITION PERIOD

• The Competition runs from 1 December 2025 to 29 February 2026.
• Purchases outside these dates do not qualify.
• Winner will be selected and announced on 2 March 2026.

PRIZE DESCRIPTION

1. Accommodation

   • A 4-night weekday stay (Monday–Friday) for up to 4 guests.
   • Standard rooms only (no deluxe rooms included).
   • Subject to availability according to Kloovenburg’s normal operations and facility schedules.
   • Blackout periods may apply at the discretion of Kloovenburg management.

2. Meals Included

   • Breakfast for up to 4 guests for 4 days — maximum value R1,000 per day (total).
   • Dinner for up to 4 guests for 4 nights — maximum value R2,000 per night (total).
   • Menu options and service locations are at Kloovenburg’s discretion.

3. Experiences

   • A farm tour on a mutually agreed date, subject to staff availability and weather.
   • A wine & olive pairing during normal business hours at Kloovenburg.
   • Four (4) leather rugby balls signed by Pieter-Steph du Toit.

4. Special Experiences

   1. Dinner with the Du Toit Family
      • Optional, only if the winner wishes, AND only if it fits the Du Toit family schedule.
      • Not guaranteed and cannot be exchanged for compensation if unavailable.
   2. Wine Tasting with Pieter-Steph du Toit
      • Subject to his availability.
      • If in-person is not possible, a virtual call may be arranged, only if his schedule allows.
      • If neither option becomes available, this component cannot be exchanged or redeemed for cash.

PRIZE CONDITIONS

• Prize is valid for 12 months from 2 March 2026.
• If not redeemed within 12 months, it is forfeited.
• Prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded, or converted to cash.
• Travel to and from Kloovenburg is NOT included.
• Alcohol will only be served to persons 18+.
• Under-18 guests may attend but may not participate in restricted experiences.
• Winner and guests are liable for any damages caused during their stay, according to standard guesthouse policy.
• Any costs outside the listed inclusions are for the winner’s account.

WINNER SELECTION

• The winner will be selected via a random computer-generated draw.
• Kloovenburg’s decision is final and binding.
• If the winner cannot be contacted within 7 days, a new winner may be chosen.
• Winner agrees to have their name published for announcement purposes.

LIABILITY & INDEMNITY

• Participation is voluntary and at the entrant’s own risk.
• Kloovenburg, SA Rugby Magazine, and associated parties accept no liability for:
  • Injuries, losses, delays, or damages of any nature,
  • Changes in scheduling, facility availability, or weather,
  • Unavailability of Pieter-Steph du Toit or any optional experience,
  • Travel or transport-related incidents.
• By participating, entrants indemnify Kloovenburg and SA Rugby Magazine against any claims.

GENERAL TERMS

• Kloovenburg may amend, suspend, or cancel the Competition if operationally required.
• Any amendment will not reduce prize value but may affect logistics or scheduling.
• Fraudulent or misleading entries will be disqualified.
• Kloovenburg reserves the right to refuse prize redemption in cases of unlawful, abusive, or inappropriate conduct.
• If any clause is invalid under South African law, the remainder remains fully enforceable.

DATA PROTECTION

• Personal information will be used only for validating entries, contacting the winner, and arranging the prize booking.
• Information will not be sold or shared outside Competition requirements.

NO MISREPRESENTATION

• Purchasing a Rugby Gift Box does not guarantee winning.
• The Competition is entirely based on a random draw.
• No participant may claim misleading advertising, deception, omission, or unfair conditions.
• All Competition details are fully disclosed to avoid any chance of misinterpretation.

ACCEPTANCE

By participating in the Competition, all entrants confirm that they:

• Agree to be bound by them,
• Accept all availability limitations and operational constraints,
• Understand that the Competition outcome is final.
